Uphold Card
by Cross River Bank (US)
A region-specific crypto debit card. US users get a prepaid Visa issued by Cross River Bank: Elite ($99.99/yr, metal card) earns 4% when spending crypto or metals and 3% with fiat or stablecoins, paid in crypto, stablecoins or metals of your choice; Essential earns 2% in XRP. UK users get a Mastercard with flat 1% GBP cashback. Restricted availability excludes EU and specific US states (NY, LA). Issuer: the US Cardholder Agreement (https://uphold.com/en-us/legal/card-terms, updated 16 Sep 2025) says the card is 'issued to you by Cross River Bank' and 'The Card is a prepaid card'. The UK card page (https://uphold.com/en-gb/debit-card) does not name a card issuer (it says the Uphold account is 'an E-Money account provided by Optimus Cards UK Limited'), so OCC lists no UK issuer.
